Even the breakthroughs of an individual genius like Albert Einstein did not conjure up out of thin air. They build on extensive previous work by others. A human group that accomplishes all these things can be described as a supermind. I define a supermind as a group of individuals acting together in seemingly intelligent ways. Superminds come in many forms.
