More than 130 thousand people After almost two months of having started, “Va por Nuestros Héroes”, Alsea's initiative that seeks to recognize the efforts of health personnel who are fighting SARS-CoV2 and support those most affected by this pandemic, Alsea, a company 100% Mexican, has so far donated more than 274 tons of food that has benefited more than 130,000 people around the country, including health personnel, patients' families, public security elements, indigenous communities and people. who suffer from food poverty. “Since the pandemic began, Alsea has demonstrated its commitment to the Mexican population and through “Va por Nuestros Héroes” we have maintained our support for the most vulnerable communities during these difficult weeks that the country has gone through.

The food donated within the framework of “Va Por Nuestros Héroes” has been distributed in different hospitals and areas of the country as follows: Through the IMSS Foundation, 48,645 lunches, prepared by VIPS, have been delivered to the health personnel Guatemala Mobile Number List of Hospital La Raza and Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI. In alliance with the “Fundación Por un Hogar”, more than 4,620 food rations have been delivered to patients and family members receiving care at the Siglo XXI Hospital. In alliance with the National Network of Food Banks, 11 tons of grains were purchased to help 2,759 families in 11 states of the Mexican Republic.

Through the Va por mi Account Movement, 7,185 pantries with food and hygiene products have been distributed to the 2,400 families of the more than 5,000 beneficiaries of the 10 “Our Comedor” children's soup kitchens. In alliance with La Comer and Fundación Alsea, the pantries will continue to be distributed during June and July. In Oaxaca and San Luis Potosí, through the IAP Peace Fund, 620 beneficiaries have been supported with the purchase and distribution of medical supplies to indigenous communities to care for patients with COVID-19. All Alsea brands have made donations of 163,600 servings, throughout the country, of their main products (pizzas, coffees, hamburgers, fried rice, etc.) to health personnel responding to the health emergency. Donation of more than 85 thousand pieces of food and drinks, through Starbucks in CDMX, Guerrero, Morelos, Quintana Roo, Jalisco, Guadalajara, Guanajuato and Puebla among others, which will be distributed among health personnel from various hospitals, relatives of patients , public safety elements, food banks, and homes.
